We offer a wide variety of classes to suit your needs. Classes are all levels but for those who are new to exercise, have special requirements or just want a little extra attention we have defined a class format just for you. Our motto is we meet you where you are on your fitness journey, no judgement and no competition. We are a community of individuals that are striving to improve our health, qualify of life and have some fun.

Founder and Lead Instructor Liz Herrera

Liz Herrera discovered yoga many years ago while attending Santa Monica College in Los Angeles, CA and loved it but it was not until 2008 when she began a much more regular practice. Liz tried various yoga methods including Rope, Hatha, Bikrams, Restorative and Vinyasa which is ultimately the one that really kept bringing her to the mat. Liz loved the breath to movement practice that Vinyasa encompassed and knew she found something special. Not only did this practice assist in her weight loss and body toning goals but Liz found it utterly therapeutic for both mind and soul. Liz’s commitment as a yoga instructor it to make each class accessible to everyone and every body. “My goal is to guide my class as a whole, while giving individual attention to make sure each student is successful and finds a reason to come back. I want to share the joy yoga has brought into my life with all of my students.”

After many years of teaching and moving to San Antonio, TX Liz got certified to teach Senior Fitness classes and absolutely loves it. She says, “The senior community is so special, I can not tell you how much fun we have and let me tell you they work hard. Some of my students take multiple classes a day. It is a chance for them not only to stay active but to socialize and have a good laugh. It is truly so rewarding to know you are helping someone build strength, balance, bone density, muscle mass and helping to prevent disease and gain happiness.”

Liz has been teaching for over 6 years now and is certified in multiple formats including Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga with Weights, Senior Circuit, Aqua Fitness and Group Exercise foundations.

Liz believes the key to keeping her students active is a fun and safe environment where everyone feels they belong, motivating her students outside of the class room and creating a community where people will want to come back for more.
